We take the protection of personal data very seriously. In the following we would like to briefly show you which data are collected in connection with the use of www.decon-it.de and what happens to you. Basically, our attitude is that protecting your privacy is paramount. That is why we take the legal provisions on data protection to the test of course. In addition, it is important to us that you always know when we store what data and how we use it.

What is personally identifiable information?

Personal data are all information about the personal and factual circumstances of a certain or identifiable person. This includes information and details such as your (correct) name, address or other postal address, the telephone number. Your email address is also included if you have such a reference to your name that you are identifiable. This does not include information that cannot be used to identify your identity. Such information is for example: all information without any reference to your name, e.g. only the size of the body, only the indication of sex or age or education or income.

When and why are your personal data collected and stored?

With your access to www.decon-it.de, the following data is stored on our server for data security purposes: the IP address of the computer requesting the page, the time, status, amount of data transferred and the Web page from which the user Requested page (referrer), product and version information of the browser used (user-agent) and screen resolution. The visitor data is only evaluated for statistical purposes. We can, for example, know at which days and at what times the offer is particularly much in demand and how much data volume is generated. You can also use the data to identify possible errors, such as faulty links or program errors. We do not merge the visiting data with individual persons.

For the identification of our registered users (“members”) we save a member name, an e-mail address, a place of residence and the password. We need this data in order to keep our users apart and to be able to contact them. The identification data remains stored as long as the membership exists. The members have the possibility to announce additional information about themselves (place of residence, postal code, horoscope etc.). In the future, such data can be used for statistical, anonymised analysis, e.g. for the representation of the number of members per city/region on a map.

Irrespective of this we ask you by name, address and other necessary information (address for the sending of the prize etc.), if you want to participate in a sweepstakes or subscribe to a newsletter. In this case, the personal data required for the respective service and its personalization will be queried and will be used only for this service.

Any use beyond the aforementioned purposes will only take place if you expressly agree to it.

Basically no passing on of personal data

Your personal data will not be passed on to third parties if you have not expressly given your consent or if we are obliged to issue it, for example due to a court or official order.

Collection and processing of user information

We collect information about the use of our services from individual computers. However, this information is stored separately without reference to personal information.

With the gathering of such information, we pursue two objectives: we would like to provide our website users with tailor-made online offers with the content and services that are relevant to them and which are of interest to them. We thus have the possibility to offer more individual (but not individualized) content in both editorial and advertising terms and thus also to increase the personal value within the offer for you. Your privacy is protected at all times because the information does not allow any conclusions to be given to individuals.

You are entitled to request information about the data stored under your login name at any time. You are also entitled to object to the creation of a user profile at any time with effect for the future (address see below).

Using of the Facebook ‘like’ buttons
